Rangers to move quickly for James Sands after Nathan Patterson sale – report
Rangers are set to move quickly for New York City FC defender James Sands after the sale of Nathan Patterson to Everton this week.
That’s according to Four Lads Had A Dream, who are closely endorsed by official club partner Heart and Hand, and also have 70,000 followers on Twitter.
They suggest that the Bears will pocket £9million immediately from Everton for Patterson, who could go on to pay up to £16million with add-ons and clauses.

Writing in their latest transfer update, Four Lads Had A Dream shared the update that everyone will have been wanting to see.
“Interest in American starlet James Sands is real and Rangers will look to move quickly,” they wrote.
“This isn’t a surprise, as widely reported, but perhaps conformation the club is looking to recruit quickly.”

Get it done.
Sands has just enjoyed the best season of his career so far with New York, lifting the MLS Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
What better way to go out than that?
Rangers will have money to burn as they close in on selling Patterson for a club record to the Premier League, but it will need to be used wisely.
At only 21-years-old, Sands has his best years ahead of him and will be the perfect cover for James Tavernier as he gets used to the Scottish Premiership.
Ross Wilson moving quickly proves he will have been watched for quite some time, and hopefully, a deal for Sands can be done before the winter break is over.
