Tom English reacts to Rangers clip shared on Twitter
Tom English has reacted to a Rangers clip of Paul Gascoigne that has been doing the rounds on Twitter today (30th December).
Gazza was always capable of the memorable, and it was 26 years since he picked up the officials yellow card and booked him – something that saw the favour returned.
English labelled the incident as “brilliant” but insisted that a “thermonuclear” reaction could have happened.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, English reacted to the clip shared over social media throughout the day.
“I was working at this match,” he said.
“Absolutely brilliant how Gazza brushed it off. A thermonuclear response wouldn’t have been out of place.”
Brilliant.
What a moment this was, and one of those that will go down in history, not only at Ibrox but in football.
Another moment is English being allowed inside of Ibrox, something that he hasn’t had the joy of doing in many months now.
Gascoigne is one of the most memorable footballers to ever play the game, and one of Europe’s biggest ever names.
With Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the helm, winning the Scottish Premiership this season would get us back in the Champions League.
We can expect the biggest names in the world coming to Ibrox yet again, and possibly even wearing that blue shirt.
One thing that won’t happen though, is English back inside Ibrox likely watching along if that happens – what a shame that could be.
