Giovanni van Bronckhorst set for talks over Rangers future of Joe Aribo – Keith Jackson
Keith Jackson has insisted that clubs will be queuing up to sign Rangers star Joe Aribo in the upcoming January window.
The Daily Record reporter has insisted that the likes of Southampton are interested, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Steven Gerrard make a move for Aston Villa.
Jackson has predicted that Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be holding talks behind the scenes at Auchenhowie ahead of the window opening.

Writing for the Daily Record, Jackson believes the easy part for Van Bronckhorst has been changing things around on the pitch.
“For Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the discussions going on behind the scenes at Auchenhowie this Christmas may also make all the hours of hard graft he’s put in on the training ground over these last few weeks seem like the easy part of his new job,” he wrote.
“Now is the time for some difficult discussions and there’s little point avoiding the various elephants piling into the room.
“Southampton have already been sniffing around Joe Aribo and they are unlikely to be the only interested party from England’s Premier League.
“In fact, it’s difficult to imagine that Gerrard himself will not make a move for the 25-year-old if he suspects Rangers may be open to offers.”

Here we go.
Jackson can’t help himself but simply make things sound more complicated than they really are at Ibrox, can he?
Of course, there is going to be interest in the likes of Aribo, he has been sensational this season, especially in recent weeks.
With the Nigerian star jetting off to the African Cup of Nations after the Old Firm clash with Celtic, though, we hardly believe that he will also have time to go and sign for a new club.
Instead, Jackson is picturing van Bronckhorst in his office having sleepless nights ahead of the window, just waiting for the likes of Gerrard to pounce.
It simply won’t happen like that.
