Chris Sutton: Rangers won’t surrender their Scottish Premiership title easily to Celtic
Chris Sutton has sent a Scottish Premiership title warning to Celtic insisting that Rangers won’t “Surrender” easily.
Our fierce rivals lifted the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park yesterday, seeing off Hibernian in a final lacking of real quality throughout.
Rangers were busy extending their lead in the league to seven points, something that has clearly got to the nerves of Sutton.

Writing in his column for the Daily Record, Sutton sent a title warning to his former side on Monday morning.
“Rangers have gone up a notch under Giovanni van Bronckhorst,” he said.
“They’ve looked hungrier since the Dutchman arrived and won’t surrender their title without a fight.”
Never.
Is this Sutton trying to remain humble? Or is it more likely that he is still scared of the Bears and how easy they are making things look right now?
Despite it only being 1-0 against Dundee United on Saturday, it was a stroll in the park and the result was never in doubt.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has got his side cruising at this moment in time in the Scottish Premiership, and winning the Old Firm in a couple of weeks time will get Celtic sweating.
We keep hearing about these amazing signings that they are set to make in January, does Sutton not realise that Ross Wilson will have a couple of tricks up his sleeve too?
Thankfully, we don’t need to bring in numerous faces and wait weeks for them to settle, van Bronckhorst will just be bringing in a couple of his own players to add to this title-winning squad against.
There will be no surrender at Ibrox, but there may be from Parkhead – time is certainly going to tell.
