Rangers want to sign Galatasaray attacker Olimpiu Morutan – report
Rangers want to sign Galatasaray sensation Olimpiu Morutan in the upcoming January window, according to En Son Haber.
The Turkish outlet have reported on their website that the Bears are completing financial checks and would prefer a loan-to-buy deal for the “star”.
It is suggested that Ianis Hagi is on the verge of being sold for a “serious” windfall, with fellow Romanian Morutan on the list of replacements.

Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim is said to have other ideas, though.
The Turkish manager is said to want to keep Morutan at the club and believes in his ability to make it on the big stage.
It is suggested that he will urge the club to reject any offers in January or the summer, whether from Rangers or not.
The 22-year-old has featured 12 times in the Super Lig this season, scoring three times and assisting a further two goals.
On top of that, Morutan has also featured alongside the man he could replace, Hagi, for the senior Romanian side.

Clear focus?
Looking at the names mentioned so far ahead of January, it looks as though Giovanni van Bronckhorst is ready to bring in a wide attacking option.
Francis Amuzu of Anderlecht and Bologna option Andreas Skov Olsen are two other names linked, with one of these three likely to arrive at Ibrox.
Van Bronckhorst likes his wingers with the touchline paint on their boots, and outside of Ryan Kent, there is a lack of out-and-out wingers available to him.
Could Morutan be the answer to that? It looks as though Galatasaray and Terim could take some convincing to make it happen.
