Chris Sutton fires back at Ally McCoist with Rangers Third Division jibe
Chris Sutton has fired back at Ally McCoist as their back and forth continues as Rangers go head-to-head with Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
McCoist was left in raptures in midweek as our fierce rivals celebrated a win over minnows Ross County as though they had won the World Cup.
Sutton was having none of it and hit back with a Rangers jibe of his own this morning (18th December) recalling a win in the Third Division against Elgin.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sutton fired yet another shot at McCoist and the Bears after footage was shared by BT Sport.
“I remember Ally celebrating wildly a late goal against Elgin City when he was Rangers manager back in the day when Rangers were in the Third Division,” he joked.
Entertainment.
McCoist is worth every single penny for a BT Sports subscription alone every single Friday night.
The Rangers icon consistently has Sutton on strings, and it leads to embarrassing little digs such as this one.
All this does is highlight how far ahead Celtic were of the mighty Bears in recent years, and how we have gone against the odds to reclaim the well-deserved throne at Ibrox.
How must it feel for Sutton and Celtic to know that a team that were celebrating winners against Elgin a matter of years ago are now embarrassing them every single time we meet?
McCoist is clearly hitting a nerve, and we’re absolutely loving it.
