Alan Rough stunned by Joe Aribo in Rangers win v St Johnstone

Alan Rough was left stunned by Rangers playmaker Joe Aribo in the 2-0 win against St Johnstone on Wednesday evening.

The Nigerian was once again at the heart of everything at Ibrox and left with the Man of the Match award.

One piece of skill left everyone in Glasgow speechless, and Rough insisted that Aribo was simply a joy to watch.

Speaking on PLZ Soccer, Rough was simply blown away by Aribo as he dominated yet another opposition team.

“He’s oozing with confidence and he has got the ability,” he said,

“Last night, there was one bit of skill in the second half, it was superb. There’s not many players who can do that on the park.

“He should have a joy watching everything he does.”

Aribo is simply playing out of his skin now, and despite everyone shining under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, no one is doing better than him.

The Nigerian is the hottest property at this moment in time, and with January approaching, we have to admit that is frightening.

It would be no surprise to see severe interest in Aribo, his performances are simply too good for others not to be sitting up and taking notice.

After bringing him in on a pre-contract deal, the Bears are set for a huge profit, but that isn’t the point, we need him to stick around.

Aribo is easily the best performer in Scotland right now, and last night was just another reminder of what he can do as we charge towards another title.
