BBC Sportsound pundit: Barisic should’ve been sent off for violent act in Rangers win v Hearts
Borna Barisic should have been sent off as Rangers won 2-0 against Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday, according to John Robertson.
Barisic was involved in a fracas in the second half after he was left furious with a hard challenge by Cammy Devlin.
Josh Ginnelly was sent off for a second yellow card after he got involved but ex-Hearts boss Robertson feels Barisic should’ve been red-carded too as he claims he grabbed Devlin’s throat.

“I think Barisic is extremely, extremely, lucky,” Robertson said on BBC Sportsound on Sunday, as quoted on the BBC Sport website.
“The moment he grabs Devlin by the throat, for me he’s got to go.”
What?!
There was a bit of handbags after that tackle by Devlin on Barisic but to accuse the left-back of grabbing the Hearts player by the throat is a bit ridiculous.

It was all about to be brushed under the carpet by Barisic and Devlin too, with the two players seemingly about to shake hands before Ginnelly, who was on a booking, came steaming in to confront the Croatian.
It was all a bit crazy but Nick Walsh was right to send Ginnelly off and we can understand why Barisic was booked too.
But how on earth did Devlin get away with that crunching challenge on Barisic, as well as his role in the afters?
Walsh didn’t have the best of grips on that game and that’s why tempers spilt over a bit.
However, Rangers were the better team and could have scored more than they did against a Hearts side that also had chances but had an in-form Allan McGregor to contend with in goals.
