Chris Sutton hits back at Ally McCoist over Rangers diving comments
Chris Sutton has destroyed Ally McCoist over his punditry during Rangers 1-1 draw against Lyon on Thursday evening.
The Ibrox hero suggested that Joe Aribo should have run at the Lyon keeper to win a penalty in the dying moments in France.
Sutton saw that as a suggestion to dive and hit back after comments on Kyogo only weeks before and his diving.

Speaking on BT Sports’ Scottish Football Extra, Sutton fired a big shot at McCoist for his comments on the situation.
“I’ve got to put you up on something, McCoist.
“Remember, the other week you have your long speech on Kyogo, you’ve got more faces than Big Ben.
“What about last night? Saying Aribo should have dived, you would have dived, you’re just as bad.”

Here we go.
There is a real difference between Aribo and Kyogo, let’s be honest.
The Japanese man has thrown himself to the floor not once, but numerous times throughout the season already.
Aribo didn’t go down in the end, he stuck to his guns and went for the ball rather than going for the keeper.
McCoist insisted if he didn’t adjust his path, then the keeper will have clattered him and there would have been no talks of diving.
There will be no more talk about Aribo and diving between now and the end of the season, but we’re quite certain that we will see plenty more stories and clips about Kyogo going into 2022.
