Confirmed Rangers team news in Europa League v Lyon
Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for the Europa League clash against Lyon on Thursday evening.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has made changes to his side, who will be backed by travelling fans in France after a late U-turn was made.
Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Bears have rested Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier.
The numerous changes certainly make sense given the trip to Hearts on Sunday afternoon (12th December).
It is a big opportunity for the likes of Nathan Patterson and Jon McLaughlin, who will want to stake a claim for man more minutes in the first team between now and the end of the season at Ibrox.

Finish with a bang?
We all remember that last trip to Lyon and would do anything for another memorable night in France like that one.
Why can’t it happen?
Van Bronckhorst has come in with his new backroom team, replacing Steven Gerrard and has been a breath of fresh air in Glasgow.
The Dutchman still has his 100% record intact, although this will easily be the biggest task of his reign so far at the club.
Lyon have been untouchable in the group so far in terms of results, but they have fallen behind in more than one game during this campaign and it is up to the Bears to do just that but make sure they don’t come back.
We’re in for a real ride, bring it on.
