Ally McCoist and Chris Sutton predict Rangers clash v Dundee

Ally McCoist and Chris Sutton have both backed Rangers to pick up a convincing win against Dundee this afternoon.

The Bears welcome the Scottish Premiership minnows to Ibrox looking to continue the perfect start of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Both have backed the Gers to smash the away side, with Sutton going for 5-0 and McCoist going for the slightly smaller 4-0.

Speaking on the predictions column on BT Sports Scottish Football Extra, both McCoist and Sutton backed Van Bronckhorst.

The biggest thing here would certainly be another clean sheet that the pundit duo have backed them to do.

Brilliant.

Kicking off this afternoon will once again put all the pressure on Celtic to go and get a result on Sunday afternoon at Tannadice.

Rangers still need to go out and do the business, and given their struggles at Dens Park earlier in the campaign, it won’t be straightforward.

Van Bronckhorst has got the side picking up wins when not even at their best already, and that is the sign of title-winners.

He will be desperate for a big win in front of a packed Ibrox, and it would well and truly get his tenure off to the perfect start ahead of that trip to Lyon.

It is time to kick on now and really start ramping up the pressure on the chasing pack, and after some difficult wins under our belts this month, it’s time to have fun with it this afternoon – watch out Dundee.
