Key Rangers figure Ross Wilson discusses club’s contract stance
Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson has provided a short update on the club’s stance on contracts.
Speaking at the club’s AGM meeting, Wilson indicated that the Gers would divide all of their players into three groups and decide from there [Glasgow Times].
He didn’t mention any specific players, but he said that he was “relaxed” by the situation [Scottish Sun].
Wilson said: “[Rangers are] relaxed about where we are with player contracts.”

It is safe to say that the Bears feel in a comfortable position when it comes to contracts.
There are a few key first-team players who will be out of contract at the end of the season; however, it doesn’t appear as if the club are panicking about any of them.
The likes of Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and others could leave Ibrox for free next summer, or if the club can’t agree on new deals, they could be sold in January to make some money [transfermarkt].
Therefore, you can understand why the Gers are relaxed about the situation because they could decide to sell in January, and if they don’t, you would think that the players could be offered new deals.
Certainly, if the Gers were worried about the situation, you think Wilson might have said something because of how important the AGM is.
