David Edgar mocks Celtic as Old Firm rivals not mentioned at Rangers AGM
David Edgar has mocked Celtic on Tuesday morning as the Rangers AGM was concluded with some brilliant answers.
Celtic’s AGM was held in the past month too, and they couldn’t help but mention the mighty Bears numerous times.
Edgar, using that as a comparison, shared that our near rivals weren’t mentioned once, highlighting a “radical difference.”
Writing on the official Twitter account of club partner, Heart & Hand, Edgar mocked our fierce rivals in brilliant fashion as the AGM continued.
“We’re an hour into this and nobody has mentioned the other half of the Old Firm,” he said.
“Radical difference from their AGM.”
It comes as no surprise that Rangers were centre-stage, even when it was the AGM of Celtic and we had nothing to do with it.
When you think about it, Chris Sutton is exactly the same and it must be something coming from Parkhead that makes them unable to talk about anything else.
Rangers fans were focused on themselves and nobody else this morning, and the answers shed some much-needed light on the club.
With the £7.5million needed this season already pumped into the club by investors, everything is moving in the right direction.
Celtic will have been praying for a collapse after Steven Gerrard’s exit and that defeat in the cup to Hibernian, but Giovanni van Bronckhorst already has the Bears flying.
It comes as no surprise to see the difference between the two, but given our clear superiority, it simply becomes laughable – all eyes are now on another title.
