Heart and Hand fire Twitter jibe as Rangers draw Stirling in Scottish Cup

Rangers were drawn against Stirling on Monday as they learned their fate for the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be happy with the home draw as he looks to put that Hibernian defeat behind the club and push for more silverware.

The Heart & Hand Podcast has delivered a Twitter jibe after the development though, with the typical “fix” comments pouring in.

Writing on their official Twitter account, they clearly saw the barrage of messages coming about the Bears picking up a home draw against so-called lesser opposition.

“Stirling at home in the cup,” they wrote.

“Obviously a conspiracy.”

Of course, even though there is a very high chance of being drawn against a lower-league side – the draw is fixed towards the Bears.

What a joke – Celtic were drawn against Alloa, but because they’re away, the draw is now fixed?

It didn’t take long for the “heated balls” argument to come into play, we wonder how on earth that would even be allowed to happen.

This happens every single year so it should be a surprise to no one, but it does give us a good chuckle every time it does happen.

Thankfully, the next round isn’t until after Christmas, in January, and we can be sure that these comments will happen against should we breeze past Sterling and get another home draw – prepare yourselves.
