Giovanni van Bronckhorst pulls out all the stops with Guido Albers to seal Rangers deal for Dave Vos

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has pulled out all the stops for Rangers to bring Dave Vos to the club from Ajax this week.

Scott Burns has shared that the new manager has involved his agent, Guido Albers in order to convince the highly-rated coach.

Vos has informed Ajax of his intention to move to Scotland, and it looks as though the deal could be concluded before the end of the weekend.

Writing for the Scottish Daily Express this week, Burns shared how van Bronckhorst got this deal almost over the line.

“Vos is the head of youth with the Dutch champions,” he said.

“The 38-year-old is highly-rated in Europe and van Bronckhorst pushed out all the stops with the help of his agent Guido Albers to convince him to join him at Ibrox.

“Vos has already informed Ajax of his intention to move to Scotland.”

Get it done.

Van Bronckhorst isn’t waiting around, and he is bringing the best of the best from around Europe along with him on this ride.

Rangers are the huge benefactors of this, with the likes of Vos set to ply his trade from Ibrox and Auchenhowie over the next three to four years.

Zeb Jacobs is said to be joining from Royal Antwerp in Belgium, too as the youth system is set to go to another level with these two involved at the club.

Not many will know the Dutch system better than van Bronckhorst, and he is bringing that expertise to Glasgow now.

Hopefully, Vos is confirmed over the weekend and the journey forward into a new era can really start as we move on from Steven Gerrard – bring it on.
