Dave Vos to finalise move to Rangers at end of week - Scott Burns

Dave Vos will finalise his move to join Rangers coaching staff at the end of the week, according to Scott Burns.

The Daily Record writer has shared that the Ajax academy coach will finalise his contract at Ibrox after returning from Turkey.

Vos’ final act at the Dutch club will be that 1-0 win for his under-19s side against Besiktas in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Burns shared the latest ahead of the move being finalised at the end of the week.

“Dave Vos will finalise his move from Ajax to join Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s coaching staff at Rangers FC later this week,” he wrote.

“His contract will be finalised on his return from Turkey with Ajax under-18s.”

It looks as though Giovanni van Bronckhorst is pulling out all of the stops to put together his coaching staff at Ibrox.

The Dutchman is proving that his stature within the game is enough to bring huge names to Glasgow, with the likes of Roy Makaay already working with the players at Auchenhowie.

Ross Wilson and the board also appear to be helping every step of the way and making sure that van Bronckhorst gets everything he wants – another brilliant sign.

Ajax are known for their outstanding academy system, and although it looks as though Vos will work with the first team, he is bound to have a big influence on the youngsters coming through.

The Oranje revolution is really starting in Glasgow, and expect more arrivals in the near future as van Bronckhorst settles in yet again.
