Tom English fires at Conor Goldson, predicts Rangers problems for Gio van Bronckhorst

Tom English has predicted “big problems” in the Rangers dressing room after their 3-1 defeat against Hibernian on Sunday.

Conor Goldson admitted after the game that the hunger has faded away after winning the title last season, something that has angered the masses.

English fired back at those claims, but believes them to be true with Giovanni van Bronckhorst facing a big task ahead.

Writing on his personal Twitter account this afternoon, English predicted big problems in the Ibrox dressing room.

“Goldson has sparked a lot of anger among Rangers fans for what he said,” he wrote.

“Forget about whether he should or shouldn’t have said it. The big issue here is – is he right? And if he’s right (and it looks like he is) then this team has big, big problems.”

Dressing room problem.

We can accept being beaten by someone who was better on the day, but there are no excuses for this.

Goldson coming out and saying this is disgusting, and van Bronckhorst surely needs to have words moving forward.

Winning one title in 10 years isn’t something that should make the hunger disappear, what about the cup competitions? They haven’t been lifted in just as long.

It was another shocker and hopefully, van Bronckhorst can get rid of this type of attitude, not just in Goldson, but the whole squad.

Sparta Prague on Thursday is a huge game for the Bears, and if we can’t get up for that one and put in a marvellous performance, the issues are more deep-rooted than once thought.

Hopefully, a huge performance and win can kickstart this new era and banish any comments such as this one in the future.
