This is when Giovanni van Bronckhorst will face the media

Giovanni van Bronckhorst is set to face the media for the first time this afternoon after becoming the new Rangers boss.

The Dutchman was in the stands at Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon as the Bears crashed to defeat against Hibernian.

It isn’t what anyone was wanting to see with a big job clearly ahead with this squad at Ibrox in all competitions.

Official club partners, the Heart and Hand have shared when van Bronckhorst will face the media.

Writing on their official Twitter account, the new boss will be questioned no doubt about what he saw at Hampden Park.

“Press Conference is at 3.30 for those asking,” they wrote.

Questions galore.

It is not going to be an easy one for van Bronckhorst, that is for sure.

There are bound to be some home truths to be laid out onto the table after the dismal trip to Hampden Park that simply wasn’t acceptable.

Van Bronckhorst needs to act quickly, get his methods into the squad and get rid of some the untouchable attitudes that were clearly on show.

It may be the first press conference of his spell here, but the talking will need to be done on the pitch in the weeks to come – that is for sure.

Changes will no doubt be made off and on the pitch, and it will be interesting to see if we will get a sneak peak of those this afternoon.

This is certainly one you can’t afford to miss.
