Rangers could start Ryan Jack v Hibernian – Sky Sports
Rangers could hand a rare start to Ryan Jack in the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Hibernian this afternoon.
Sky Sports have shared the latest team news ahead of the trip to Hampden Park, with the likes of Jermain Defoe and David McCallum in charge and Giovanni van Bronckhorst watching from the stands.
It is suggested that after Jack came off the bench against Ross County, he could be thrown in for his first start in months.

Writing in their preview for the match this afternoon, Sky Sports suggest that Jack could be set for another huge milestone in his return.
“Player-coach Jermain Defoe, B-team boss David McCallum and his assistant Brian Gilmour, along with goalkeeping coach Colin Stewart, will be on the sidelines and may consider giving fit-again Ryan Jack a start after he came off the bench against Ross County in the last outing,” they wrote.

Rare start?
No one would complain about Jack starting, but it all depends on how he has trained during the international break.
The Scottish international has only had that handful of minutes against Ross County and could need more cameos like that to build his fitness back up.
Training well is one part of recovery, but getting those match minutes under your belt can be even more important.
Jack will play a vital role between now and the end of the season if we want to lift domestic cups as well as the title, but today may come too early for a start.
Steven Davis and Glen Kamara are likely to get the nod in those deeper midfield roles with Joe Aribo or John Lundstram possibly ahead of them.
