Rangers agree three and half year deal with van Bronckhorst, media presentation on Monday
Rangers have agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Giovanni van Bronckhorst on Thursday evening.
The Dutchman has finally confirmed his move to Ibrox and is awaiting his work permit in Glasgow this week.
Dharmesh Sheth has shared the news and has added that he will be officially announced to the media on Monday.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, the Sky Sports journalist revealed that his first game in charge will be on Thursday against Sparta Prague.
“Bit more on new Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst,” he said.
“Told it’s a 3.5-year contract (2025). Media presentation Monday. First training session Tuesday. First game Thursday. Roy Makaay on his coaching staff. Rest of backroom team being worked on.”
Brilliant.
This is fantastic news and exactly what everyone was wanting to hear.
It has already been suggested that van Bronckhorst is using the role as a stepping stone to the Premier League, just as it was suggested Gerrard did.
With a multi-year deal signed, it looks as though he is in this for the long haul and bringing back numerous pieces of silverware to Ibrox.
Missing the Hibs game isn’t the biggest problem given our makeshift staff has taken training all week in preparation.
Van Bronckhorst will likely be in training tomorrow and observing, and will likely do the same in the stands against Hibs.
Then he will be fully hands-on after his presentation to the media on Monday, working towards the huge clash against Sparta Prague on Thursday.
A big win in Europe would be the perfect start and would all-but secure our passage to the knockout stages – fingers crossed.
