Giovanni van Bronckhorst in formal Rangers talks today, backroom duo ready to join – report
Rangers could seal a deal to appoint Giovanni van Bronckhorst on Saturday with formal talks set to talk place, according to the Sun.
The newspaper has reported on their website that the Dutchman has flown into Britain for face-to-face talks with Ross Wilson and remains the runaway favourite.
It is also suggested that Van Bronckhorst has two of his backroom staff members ready to join with Jan Wouters and Jean-Paul van Gastel mooted, the latter whom he worked with at Feyenoord.

Ibrox chiefs have been heavily encouraged that Van Bronckhorst is desperate to return to management after a spell in China recently.
The Daily Record has also reported that the former Barcelona and Bears star does want assurances though.
It is suggested that he wants guarantees on the transfer front to take the club and squad forward, especially should star players be sold.
After losses of £23.5million, there will be heavy speculation surrounding the likes of Ryan Kent in months to come.
Should that be sorted, a deal could be finalised as early as today based on everything else looking so positive.

Get it done.
Everything is pointing in the right direction with this one.
Should those transfer assurances be given to Van Bronckhorst, there should be no reason as to why he shouldn’t become the new manager of Rangers.
If anything, this is a more exciting appointment than Steven Gerrard was.
The Dutchman would be returning to Ibrox and would arrive with experience of lifting silverware at Feyenoord – beating the likes of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven in a very competitive league.
All the boxes are ticked, and it is down to Wilson to get this one over the line.
