Jim White shares what he’s been told about Rangers manager hunt, Martin Keown stunned
Jim White has shared what he has been told about Rangers managers hunt on Friday with talks set to begin over the weekend.
Giovanni van Bronkhorst appears to be the frontrunner at Ibrox, with the Dutchman believed to be one of those set for talks with Ross Wilson.
Martin Keown was live in the talkSPORT studio, and he was left stunned as he processed the potential successor of Steven Gerrard.

Speaking on talkSPORT, White shared what he had been told over the phone live on air as talks look set to take place.
“It’s our understanding now that Steven Gerrard has gone to Aston Villa, Rangers have got a shortlist and the work starts now for them,” he said.
“We understand the Rangers board will begin official talks with candidates, three of them this weekend – one of the three is Giovanni van Bronkhorst.”
Keown was left stunned by the links and admitted that it could be the perfect appointment from the Bears.
“He’s managed good success in Holland,” he said.
“I met him a few years back on European travels and was immensely impressed so why not? He knows rangers inside-out.”

Get it done.
This seems too good to be true, and it looks as though everything is perfectly in line for Van Bronkhorst to return.
The Dutchman has already admitted that he would love to return to Ibrox, and now it looks as though it could happen.
Having tasted success at Feyenoord before and also managed in China, there is plenty of experience behind his name.
Wilson is looking to get talks started and maybe even finished over the weekend, and that would be ideal for everyone.
Van Bronkhorst will likely want a full week of training with the squad if appointed, with a huge semi-final game against Hibernian before Slavia Praha are in town.
It looks as though this is the man everyone wants, time to get it done.
