John Terry likely to apply for Rangers job – Michael Bridge
Rangers are already on the hunt for their next manager after Steven Gerrard left the club on Thursday.
Sky Sports have shared that John Terry is open to the idea of replacing his fellow countryman at Ibrox after he coincidentally left Aston Villa.
Michael Bridge has been asked for his view on the situation and admitted that applications are very likely in the coming days.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Bridge shared that he was certain Terry would be one of those to officially throw his name into the hat.
“I’m sure he’ll apply for it,” he said.
For Bridge to be so sure that an application is coming, Sky Sports must have heard something to bring that on.

Smart?
It is hard to predict whether this would be a smart move or a few steps back from Gerrard’s time in Glasgow.
Terry worked closely with Dean Smith at Villa Park but has yet to be in charge of a club himself and this is a huge role for anyone.
We believe it would be smarter to bring in someone with great experience, and looking at the names already linked, there are plenty of those.
The likes of Giovanni van Bronkhorst and Gennaro Gattuso already have links with the club, are available and have good experience in management and winning things.
Would Terry be a good fit with a huge cup semi-final and European night on the horizon? We doubt it – let’s be smart about this one.
