Rangers will accept offers for star men this January – Journalist
Rangers look set to accept major offers for any of their star men in the upcoming January window, according to Craig Swan.
The Daily Record journalist insisted that after the latest financial figures were released, the Bears aren’t in a position to spend and may need to sell instead.
Keith Jackson backed that up, insisting it will be a real task for Steven Gerrard to not lose any of his star men.

Writing for the Daily Record this morning, Swan insisted that it was a certainty that sales will happen in January.
“Of course they will,” he wrote. “Rangers are surely not in a position to spend and it’s time to sell.”
Jackson responded to that, claiming that Gerrard may need to persuade the board not to accept any offers for his players.
“Steven Gerrard has resisted all attempts to raise money from selling his key men – including knocking back big offers for Ryan Kent and Nathan Patterson.
“The latest numbers suggest he may have a job on his hands to persuade the board not to cash in if another lucrative bid arrives during the next window.”

No chance.
There is one real saving grace that will stop Rangers from being forced into selling some of their better players in January.
Everyone knows that winning the Scottish Premiership delivers instant qualification to the group stages of the Champions League.
Along with that, comes a handsome £40million windfall – something that would instantly wipe out the losses of the club during COVID-19.
As well as that, it would leave the club in profit over the past few seasons and allow for another season of impressing spending if needed.
Gerrard will surely be insisting that he is given his full squad to go and win another title, with losing big names simply something that makes it a much harder task.
