Ally McCoist stunned by Scott Arfield return for Rangers
Rangers have been boosted by numerous injury returns to many of their players over the past couple of weeks.
Scott Arfield returned to the starting XI against Motherwell on Sunday, and kept his spot in Denmark for the game with Brondby.
Ally McCoist has been left stunned by his return, insisting it is “massive” for Steven Gerrard and his squad to have Arfield available.

Speaking on BT Sport, McCoist was left thrilled by the return to action of the Canadian in the past couple of weeks.
“It’s massive,” he said.
“I think they’ve really lacked a midfield running ahead of the ball – Arfield does that. I also think recently that the forwards have played too short with no one going behind, they’re going towards the ball, for some reason.
“With Sakala up front and Arfield in the middle of the park, we’re stretching the game – you’ve got to have a midfield player that can run, it creates movement and space for the forwards as well.
“I’m happy with Arfield back in the side.”

Massive.
It has been brilliant to see Arfield start two games on the bounce, and it is certainly a major development to have him consistently fit.
The Canadian offers something different, and can affect a game without even touching the ball – something McCoist alluded at in his glowing praise.
Joe Aribo and Ianis Hagi are different players, and love dropping deeper to collect the ball and run at their men, as both did last night.
Sometimes though, you need someone to stretch the defence ahead of you to create that space, and that is exactly what Arfield does.
If Gerrard can keep Arfield consistently fit, it will be a huge boost and give the Bears so many options to rotate their squad.
