Steven Gerrard's stance on leaving Rangers for Newcastle United unknown

It remains to be seen whether Steven Gerrard is interested in leaving Rangers for Newcastle United, according to the Daily Telegraph.

In a bizarre few days, the Toon have gone from plodding along to being the richest club in the world, and Gerrard has been linked with the manager’s job [Daily Mail].

However, for now, Steve Bruce remains in charge, and it seems as if some reports suggesting that Gerrard is interested in the role are jumping the gun.

Big days and weeks ahead.

It is expected that Bruce will be sacked, and then the Toon will begin their new search for a manager, and it will be very interesting to see what Gerrard decides to do [Sky Sports].

If he stays, he could build a legacy at Ibrox and turn the Gers into the dominant force in Scotland once again.

If he leaves, it is a chance in the Premier League, but if it goes wrong, is that his chances of getting the Liverpool job ruined?

Danny Murphy claimed that it would be a “risk” if Gerrard decided to move to Newcastle, and we do agree with him and hope that he stays [talkSPORT].

However, it is good to hear that he hasn’t actually made a decision yet, which suggests that in the end, he might turn down the opportunity to move to Tyneside.

If he did this, then we can imagine that many Gers fans would simply love him even more than they already do, if that was even possible.
