Rangers Super Fans discuss Nikola Katic

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Rangers Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Ibrox. You can join in the discussion on our Rangers Insider Facebook page.

A lot of Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about Nikola Katic.

The Daily Record recently provided an update on players who are out on loan from Ibrox, and they claimed that things were looking positive for the Croatian.

The 24-year-old has been through hell and back with injuries, but it is clear that our Super Fans want him back at Ibrox next season or even before that.

Big fans of Katic.

Before his injury, the centre-back was a key part of Steven Gerrard’s team, and he can be that again if he can gain some match fitness at Hajduk Split.

He has been out for a long time, so you would think it could take him quite some time to get up to speed with everything and to be in a position to make a difference to the first team.

However, in a recent interview, he claimed that his injury woes are behind him, which is great to hear, and we do hope to see the 24-year-old back playing for the Bears soon [Daily Record].

The Gers have a recall option inserted into his loan with Hajduk, and if he can play some more games between now and January, then we wouldn’t be surprised to see him recalled [Scottish Sun].

Clearly, our Super Fans love Katic, and it would be great for them to see him playing for Rangers once more.

In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has fired his latest dig at the club.
