Alan Rough predicts Rangers clash v Livingston
Alan Rough has backed Rangers to beat Livingston with ease in the Scottish League Cup on Wednesday evening.
The Bears will be desperate for a win after throwing away all three points in the league clash against Motherwell over the weekend.
Rough believes that there will be tweaks made by Steven Gerrard, who is visibly fuming ahead of the clash.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the clash, Rough was clear with his predictions.
“It depends on how much he tweaks it,” he said.
“He’s obviously not happy with some of the performances of players, so it will be interesting to see who he takes out and who he leaves in.
“They should win quite comfortably.”
With Gerrard suggested to not be happy, there could be more than just a couple of changes at Ibrox tomorrow.
Ianis Hagi is returning after his enforced COVID-19 absence, and he could be thrown straight back into the action.
The likes of Nathan Patterson and Alfredo Morelos could also return with plenty of options finally available after weeks of somewhat of a crisis.
It is no secret that a huge win would be very welcome right now, with finding the back of the net frequently becoming somewhat of an issue.
Motherwell should have been blown out of the park on Sunday, but they weren’t and we were punished, that can’t be the case tomorrow evening.
