Rangers Super Fans slam Michael Stewart

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Rangers Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Ibrox. You can join in the discussion on our Rangers Insider Facebook page.

Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about Michael Stewart’s verdict on the Heart & Hand contoversy.

The BBC pundit decided to wade into the ongoing dispute between Heart & Hand and the Daily Record and decided to call out the Gers for failing to show any leadership on his Twitter account.

There has been quite a bit of controversy as old tweets have surfaced from both sides, which have made both parties look bad, but the club haven’t commented on it, and Stewart has decided to address that.

However, this didn’t go down well with our Super Fans, who let rip.

Does Stewart have a point?

It does seem odd that Rangers are yet to say anything about the ongoing situation but was there really any need for Stewart to have a go at the Gers?

He must have known that it was going to cause a pile on from Gers fans, and our Super Fans have let him know how they feel about him.

Yes, the club probably should have offered some sort of response, but this still feels like an unnecessary tweet designed to irritate and annoy Bears fans who have had enough of Stewart talking about their club.

Of course, we doubt this will stop him, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is back later in the week accusing Rangers of something, which will probably annoy even more Gers fans.

Hopefully, this situation between the Heart & Hand and the Daily Record can be resolved soon, but we also hope Stewart stays away from talking about this situation.

In other Rangers news, one Gers star has tested positive for Covid.
