Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister offers cryptic response on Borna Barisic's future
Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister refuses to confirm whether Borna Barisic will be staying at Ibrox.
The 28-year-old was pictured at the end of the Old Firm game, appearing to say goodbye to the Ibrox faithful and when asked about the Croatian’s future and if he would be staying, McAllister failed to allay fears over his future.
When asked if that was Barisic’s last game, he said that “you never know”, which is hardly likely to please Gers fans [Rangers TV].
Is Barisic going to leave?
There is not long left until the transfer window slams shut for this summer, but Barisic was very emotional at the end of the match, and Kris Boyd revealed that he thinks the left-back was saying goodbye [Sky Sports via the Daily Record].
Now that theory has hardly been quashed by McAllister, who has probably increased tensions on the blue side of Glasgow with his latest comments.

If Barisic is leaving, then it has been kept very quiet because there has been almost no mention of bids or clubs interested in the Croatian for a long time [Give Me Sport].
So it could be a nervous wait for Gers fans as the transfer window approaches its conclusion, and it will be intriguing to see if Barisic remains or if he goes.
In other Rangers news, one Gers player shouldn’t have played in the Old Firm but pushed through the pain barrier.
