Rangers Super Fans don't want to see Lundstram in the Old Firm

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Rangers Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Ibrox. You can join in the discussion on our Rangers Insider Facebook page.

Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about John Lundstram starting against Celtic, and they don’t want to see him anywhere near the team.

The 27-year-old only joined the Gers this summer, but it appears as if many of our Super Fans don’t rate the central midfielder.

Lundstram has had a difficult start to life in Glasgow and has turned in some shocking performances [PLZ Soccer].

So it is no surprise to see that these Gers Super Fans don’t want to see him against the Bhoys.

Lundstram has plenty of EFL and Premier League experience, so he should be able to adapt to the demands of the SPFL in time.

However, as of now, he has made an unconvincing start to life as a Rangers player, and it is clear that some of our Super Fans don’t rate him at all.

You could argue it is too early to make a judgement on Lundstram, but it is probably right that he doesn’t start in the Old Firm because if he has another bad game, he might struggle to recover.

We believe that he will come good, but for now, the Gers should leave him on the bench and ease him into life at Ibrox.

In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has made his latest claim on the Gers.
