Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about Everton’s bid for Nathan Patterson that the Gers rejected.

The Toffees offered just £5million for the Rangers right-back, and the bid was swiftly rejected, with Steven Gerrard also slating the offer from Everton [Daily Record].

However, the Toffees remain in talks for Patterson, and it will be intriguing to see if they come back in with another offer, though it is clear that our Super Fans want Patterson to stay.

The 19-year-old right-back has emerged as a player with a huge future over the past season or so, and it is no wonder that our Super Fans want to keep him.

Certainly, Everton’s offer for Patterson is awful and doesn’t reflect his true value at all.

If they are serious about signing Patterson, then they should be coming back in with a much higher offer.

However, we would hope that the Gers would reject any bid for Patterson and try to keep a player who clearly has a huge future ahead of him.

It would be a massive shame if Rangers decided to cash in on Patterson, and we doubt our Super Fans would be very happy as they clearly see the 19-year-old as a potential future captain.

In other Rangers news, one Gers star has made the SPFL Team of the Week after his display against Ross County.
