Michael Stewart questions Rangers on Twitter

Rangers made the headlines over the opening weekend by not complying with Scottish Premiership sponsor Cinch.

The Sun shared the news that the Bears refused to have their logo around the ground and on their matchday shirts against Livingston.

Douglas Park owns a similar business and is said to have left Cinch furious by his refusal to share their branding.

Michael Stewart has, of course, reacted to the news.

Writing on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon, Stewart heavily questioned the Bears and their decisions.

“Can anyone explain why Rangers aren’t happy to comply with the SPFL title sponsorship deal?” he wrote.

Here he is.

Stewart can’t help himself and has to comment on everything to do with what Rangers are involved in.

This is something that the club are looking to resolve, and according to the Sun’s report, are battling at legal level.

There are more important things that could be commented on, with matters on the pitch taking centre stage after the Champions League draw.

Rangers were matched with Olympiakos or Ludogorets should they beat Malmo, and the £30million-plus guaranteed for reaching the group stage will overshadow this.

There may be movement and updates soon should this battle continue, and we will all be brought out of the dark into the light.

The Gers refused to comment on the matter when questioned and encouraged those asking to seek answers to go to the SPFL instead.

We’re sure one simple search and Stewart would find his answer, but of course, he had to take any chance to try and shine a bad light on Ibrox.
