Chris Sutton makes bizarre Rangers prediction v Livingston
Chris Sutton has made his predictions for Rangers opening Scottish Premiership clash with Livingston this afternoon.
The Bears get their title defence underway at Ibrox and have been backed by many to dominate yet again.
Sutton has taken a bizarre view ahead of the game, suggesting that Rangers will be handed three penalties.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sutton shared the bitter prediction when guessing it will finish 4-0.
“Good luck to all the Scottish Premiership teams for the season,” he wrote.
“Here are my score predictions for the weekend. What are yours? Rangers 4 (3 pens) – 0 Livingston.”
Sutton already can’t help himself, trying to rattle the Rangers fanbase but only making himself look foolish.
The Bears are relentless in attack and will be camped in Livingston’s half yet again, and that is why penalties are likely for James Tavernier to slot home.
Maybe there is a hint of jealously, with Celtic not able to dominate the ball for 90 minutes as we can, losing numerous games embarrassingly last season.
Sutton can watch Rangers cruise to victory in the season opener with ease, but then he will have no fingernails left when Celtic will no doubt struggle against newly-promoted Hearts.
There are levels right now in Scotland, and the Bears are miles ahead of anyone, never mind their near rivals.
How many lessons will he need to be taught before being silenced? We don’t mind, as it just means we can sit back and laugh more and more each time.
