Peter Martin compares Rangers & Celtic fortunes

Peter Martin has labelled Rangers invincible side as one of the most “mediocre” to bring the title back to Ibrox.

The PLZ pundit-turned-host was in the middle of attacking Celtic for their Champions League failure when turning the cards.

Martin insisted that it should take have taken millions for the Bears to catch their near rivals, but complacency on the green half handed the control back to the Gers.

Rangers

Writing for PLZ on Thursday, Martin made the major claim that the Bears shouldn’t be in the position they are in.

“It is an act of gross negligence and complacency from a board that should have had their club so far out of sight that Rangers would have had to have spent millions to bridge the gap,” he wrote.

“In truth, they’ve managed to spend a fraction of Celtic’s budget and won the league with one of the most mediocre sides in the Ibrox club’s history of title-winning teams.”

Rangers

Rubbish.

Why can it never be how good Rangers were last season, but instead, it is once again how bad Celtic were.

The Bears destroyed their fierce rivals at every single chance they were handed, but yet that is the fault of their board.

Rangers haven’t had to spend millions because they have used the market expertly, bringing in free transfers such as John Lundstram, who only last season was playing in the Premier League.

It makes us laugh, and it is still going on now.

With the new season around the corner, it is time for the Bears to get back out there and prove themselves even further, and Celtic look to be in disarray already.

It is time to make things even worst, get on board for the ride right now.
