Rangers watch on and laugh as Celtic-Eddie Howe move collapses
It’s been quite a good year to support Rangers, hasn’t it?
Steven Gerrard has led us to the Europa League knock-out stages again, led the team to an unbeaten Premiership season, lifted the Gers’ 55th league title and set us up for a campaign in the Champions League next term.
One of the best parts though is to see the absolute meltdown happening in the East End of Glasgow at Celtic Park.
Celtic fans have found Rangers’ dominance a bit hard to take, if we’re not trying to exaggerate.
Neil Lennon was hounded out of Parkhead amid fan protests over the club’s failure to win their 10th league title in a row.
Celtic’s attempts to replace Lennon have been a bundle of laughs too with so many names linked with the vacancy.
Eddie Howe has been the strongest link to Parkhead with the ex-Bournemouth manager seemingly wanting to return to management in charge of a circus.
However, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore with the Daily Mail sharing a huge story on Friday saying Celtic’s move for Howe has completely derailed.
Lennon left the Bhoys in February.
It’s almost June and the leading contender for the job at Parkhead has backed out of the deal that was supposed to have been announced next week.
It’s been a magical season to support Rangers but this just tops it off.
We cannot wait to see the reaction from the other half of the Old Firm.
In other Rangers news, ex-Celtic player Alan Thompson tweeted a bizarre rant about the Gers in the middle of the night.
