Rangers Super Fans blown away by Allan McGregor in 2-0 victory against Celtic

Rangers made it five Old Firms without defeat on Sunday as they once again swept aside Celtic in the Scottish Cup fourth round.

Steven Davis opened the scoring with an acrobatic effort at Ibrox before Jonjoe Kenny’s own goal settled the tie and sent the Bears through to the quarter-finals.

It didn’t go all the way of the home side though, with Steven Gerrard’s side having to get through some tough moments in the second half.

Bobby Madden even-handed Celtic a penalty in the final moments of the clash, with Odsonne Edouard taking on the responsibility.

Step forward, Allan McGregor.

The veteran stopper has enjoyed an incredible season once again at Ibrox, and it was his efforts that helped preserve yet another clean sheet.

Even Chris Sutton was blown away by his efforts in the sticks, and you know it must be a sensational performance when even the bitter Celtic-mad pundit has nothing but praise.

Thankfully, McGregor has signed on for yet another year in Glasgow, and it would be no surprise to see him continue past next season, especially should we dominate once again.

We asked our esteemed panel of Super Fans on our Facebook page Rangers Insider to describe McGregor in one sentence.

They responded in their hundreds, and the comments section was flooded with praise for Greegsy after yet another sensational display.
