Ibrox View: Predicted Rangers starting XI v Hibernian
Rangers continue their Scottish Premiership season on Sunday afternoon as they welcome Hibernian to Ibrox.
The Bears have five games between them and an invincibles campaign, with the away side having given us some of our toughest tests so far.
Steven Gerrard has his usual squad available to him, with Ryan Jack and James Tavernier the only two injured players as it stands.
Allan McGregor will come back in between the sticks on Sunday, replacing Jon McLaughlin, who hardly touched the ball against Cove.
The back four will slightly change too, with Borna Barisic replacing Calvin Bassey after his cameo appearance in the Scottish Cup.
Nathan Patterson, Filip Helander and Conor Goldson will complete the back four in this incredible defensive campaign so far.
Steven Davis has been incredible this season and has signed a new one-year deal at the club as he looks to continue his legacy.
The Northern Ireland international has been joined by Glen Kamara for the majority of this season and that partnership has been phenomenal and will look to dominate once again.
Joe Aribo adds the flair to that partnership, and having bulked up this season has quickly become untouchable in the Scottish Premiership.
Scott Wright has waited for his chance to start, and definitely took that against Cove, and he may take the spot off Ianis Hagi.
Michael Beale labelled the Romanian international as “special” after the latest break, but that may not mean much when sat on the bench this Sunday.
Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos will come back into the team refreshed, having had a couple of weeks rest during the international break and the Cove clash.
That is a dangerous proposition for Hibernian, who may find their relentless attacking skill too much to handle in Glasgow.
Here’s how we expect them to line up…
