Kamara’s lawyer expects Glasgow court appearance for Kudela

Glen Kamara’s lawyer expects Slavia Prague’s Ondrej Kudela to be handed a date in court for alleged racist abuse of the Rangers midfielder.

Aamer Anwar took to his personal Twitter account on Wednesday to share the massive update, in which he said that “on basis of sufficiency of evidence”, he expects that Kudela will be reported for “alleged racist abuse” even if he’s not questioned.

Anwar added that he also expects Kudela to be “given a date where he would be required to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court, ultimately for trial”.

Huge hope for justice

Let’s hope this is the case because we need to see this come to a conclusion as soon as possible.

UEFA’s investigators are likely to take their time in dealing with the case but hopefully, the Scottish justice system won’t.

Kamara is basically being called a liar by Slavia and everyone who surrounds the Czech club and for someone who’s allegedly suffered racist abuse, that’s simply awful.

Imagine being so awfully abused, only for thousands of people to call you a liar?

It’s simply not fair.

Kamara’s allegation needed to be treated with respect from everyone from the off but Slavia refused to do that when they dubbed the midfielder’s claims as “imaginary”.

We want to see justice for Kamara as soon as possible and we also want to see Slavia hit with massive sanctions whether Kudela is proven to be guilty or not.

If UEFA want to take a stance against racism, they need to show that clubs cannot swat away racist accusations so easily.

In other Rangers news, Slavia’s chairman has confirmed information has been passed onto the police about a disgusting banner aimed at Kamara.
