'As sure as night follows day', 'Jokers' – These Bears not happy after SFA decision

Celtic striker Albian Ajeti was cleared of a ban for diving on Tuesday and Neil Lennon has gone on the warpath, hinting that the Gers call for consistency might have played a part.

The news came a day before the Kemar Roofe hearing and plenty of Rangers fans are predicting that their player will be banned.

They have no faith in the disciplinary process and are not surprised at all that Ajeti has got off.

One fan said, “Oh what a surprise. A token Celtic player goes up before the Compliance Officer & gets off. Big bad Roofe will get banned as sure as night follows day! No one else in the frame because they dont wear blue. They don’t even try to hide their bias anymore!”

The news was announced late on Friday afternoon.

Roofe’s hearing has been put back 24 hours and we should get the results from that this afternoon.

If he gets a retrospective ban then all hell will break loose – and plenty of Gers fans think this is exactly what will happen.

Irrespective, the disciplinary process has been put under the spotlight these past weeks and big questions are being asked.

VA has solved a lot of problems in England but created some others, mainly from really dubious calls from the officials operating it.

VAR won’t be landing in Scotland for some time because of the prohibitive cost.

But poor decisions from officials is the main problem in Scotland too, where the level of officiating is even worse.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for later on but, like these Rangers fans, we’re not expecting anything…

In other Rangers news, imminent return of 32y/o leaves these Bears purring.
