‘Ross County to score’ – Alan Rough & Tam McManus predict upcoming Rangers clash

Alan Rough and Tam McManus have both backed Rangers to pick up another three points against Ross County on Sunday afternoon.

McManus has predicted that the home side will manage to score and break Rangers’ strong defensive record in the Scottish Premier League this season in a 4-1 rout.

Rough went more conservative with his prediction, claiming there is no chance of the Bears conceding in a 2-0 win.

Making their predictions for PLZ Soccer on YouTube, it was no surprise to see the Bears placed as heavy favourites in Dingwall.

“I would expect Rangers to go up there, I’ve got Ross County to score a goal,” he said.

“I think they’ve got a goal in them against Rangers, but I think Rangers will be too strong and win 4-1.”

Rough disagreed with that though, claiming that the Bears will keep a clean-sheet on their way to another comfortable three points.

“I don’t think they’re going to score a goal at the weekend either. although Rangers lost a couple of bad goals against a quality side [Liege] but in the Premier League they’re head and shoulders above everybody else – 2-0.”

Rangers

It is hard to look past Rangers in any game they play at this moment.

Steven Gerrard has transformed the Bears, and they are looking unstoppable in all competitions at this moment in time.

The table-toppers have only conceded three goals in their 15 league games so far this season, and it is hard to see Ross County changing that.

County have the second worst-defensive record in the division, and it will be their backline coming under the most pressure – something which will be a massive test.

Rangers have scored four times the number of goals than tomorrow’s opponents, and it would be no surprise to see that sort of difference in Dingwall.
