‘Going to make some serious money’,’ Madness’: Some fans buzzing after int’l display by Gers ace

Finland shocked world champions France 2-0 in Paris last night and Rangers fans were thrilled to see Glen Kamara in action for the last 25 minutes of the game.

Kamara came on in the 67th minute and helped steer his side to an unlikely clean sheet and a huge win.

One Bear said that Rangers were going to make a “serious amount of money” on the player and after signing him for just £50,000, that’s a guarantee. Not that we want to make serious money on him anytime soon.

The one issue with Kamara’s star rising is that clubs could well come looking for him in January.

Southampton had a scout at Ibrox for the 8-0 thrashing of Hamilton – the only good thing is that Kamara didn’t get on the pitch that day so if they were looking at him it would have been a wasted trip.

The only thing we care about now is Kamara navigating the other two fixtures for his country and coming home safely.

Finland play Bulgaria on Sunday and then Wales on Wednesday in a fixture pile-up that puts the Premiership to shame.

There’s no winter break either this season so Steven Gerrard is going to have to use his fantastic squad to navigate through the fixtures.

In the meantime, here are the best reactions to Kamara’s help in the shock win over France…
