Ibrox View: Rangers must go all-out to sign game-changing box-to-box mid earning just £4k/wk
Rangers could take their squad to the next level by signing Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram.

And those developments took a very dramatic turn on Wednesday when Blades manager Chris Wilder confirmed that Lundstram wouldn’t be signing a new contract.
His current contract runs out in the summer and it means he can leave on a free next year. He can talk to overseas clubs about a pre-contract as early as January.
The other option for Sheffield United would be to sell him at a knock-down price in January.
They signed him for £700,000 three years ago and he is now listed as being worth ten times that much on Transfermarkt.
Lundstram became the darling of the Fantasy Football world when he started scoring from midfield last season, despite being listed in the game as a defender.
However, he lost his place towards the end of the season to big signing Sander Berge.
Despite starting every Premier League game this season, it seems that the player – on just a reported £4k-a-week at Sheffield United – has become disillusioned with life there.
Stats on Sky show why he could be such an important player for Rangers.
In November he was the highest-ranked Sheffield United player for goals, shots, big chances created, distance covered in games and sprints.
He is a highly-effective box-to-box midfielder who can also cover in the holding midfield spot or back in defence.
If Rangers could land Lundstram in January we think they go on and win the Premiership.
If they have to wait and get him on a free in the summer then he could spearhead the start of another dominant run in Scotland for the Gers.
