The Gers have tried to secure a return for the Tottenham winger, but it does not look like that will happen.
However, it seems as though Derek McInnes will be left looking elsewhere to strengthen on the flanks.
Cozier-Duberry is a legitimate target and the Gers are pushing forward their pursuit of the Brighton star.
If they sign him, it may prove to be a masterstroke as he could be even better than Moore.

TEAMtalk reported on Thursday that talks were progressing around the Bears' move for the 21-year-old winger.
It states that he is open to the move, as the clubs negotiate, with hopes of completing a deal within 48 hours.
Moore enjoyed a fantastic season in Scotland, playing 33 league games with seven goals and three assists.
He averaged 2.58 shots, 1.66 chances created and 4.62 touches in the opposition box per 90 minutes.
Cozier-Duberry played 34 games in League One on loan with Bolton Wanderers.
He notched eight goals and 10 assists in England's third tier and averaged 3.29 shots, 1.80 and 5.53 touches in the opposition box, per Fotmob.
Why the Gers should hurry up with Cozier-Duberry move
Cozier-Duberry outperformed Moore in the majority of attacking metrics, which should be encouraging for Gers supporters.
However, there is an important caveat, as those numbers were produced in an easier league, and may not translate if he joined McInnes' side.
Moore has already shown that he can produce in a Light Blues' shirt, but a return looks difficult to secure, as he wants to impress with the Premier League outfit.
Whether Cozier-Duberry can do the same in the top flight in Scotland remains to be seen, but at a price tag at around £5million, it seems like a gamble worth taking.
If Moore is not available, he seems like the best possible alternative for the G51 side, with the season approaching rapidly.
The 55-time champions need to get somebody through the door as quickly as possible, so they will hope to wrap up a deal for the former Arsenal academy ace shortly.
