Why Rangers are willing to take summer spending over £11m as Vanja Dragojevic bid tabled
Rangers could add to their busy summer by signing Vanja Dragojevic.
The Gers have already made five summer signings and don't look likely to be stopping any time soon.
Dan Neil has most recently come through the door to join Lawrence Shankland as another free transfer.
Ben Godfrey has come in on loan, while over £7million has been spent on Ivor Pandur and Ross McCrorie.
These will all look to play a part as Derek McInnes comes in for his maiden campaign at Ibrox.
The Scot is already looking to add to his squad further in a move for Dragojevic of FK Partizan
Partizan set asking price as Rangers bid for Vanja Dragojevic
It appears that further midfield additions are on the cards, even after Neil's move from Sunderland.
The next target appears to be the Serbian after a breakthrough campaign last time around.
Dragojevic was a regular in the Super Liga last season and could now be on the move.
Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport reported on Thursday that Partizan have received a "concrete offer" from Rangers for the 20-year-old.
That is said to be around £3.9m, but the bid has since been turned down with room still there for negotiation.
The Super Liga outfit are holding out for closer to £4.7m, as well as a sell-on clause for any future sale at Ibrox.
Who is Rangers target Dragojevic?
The 20-year-old is attracting plenty of interest in Serbia after becoming a regular last campaign.
He became a first team asset at Partizan in the 2024/25 season, but went on to make 41 appearances in the most recent year.
That has seen him put in plenty of standout performances with his aggression and physicality in the middle of the park.
He is famed for his one-on-one defending skills and aerial ability, while also looking like a strong leader.
It appears that Rangers are looking to beat plenty of big sides to Dragojevic after previous links to the likes of Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
That in itself proves why the Gers need to make a move, especially when they could bring him in for less than £5m this summer.
