Yeni Acik journalist Ertan Suzgun has reported the Light Blues' "serious interest" in the attacker, with his entourage claiming that verbal offers have been coming in for him.
Cerny doesn't look to have any intention of leaving Besiktas, but his situation remains open until the transfer deadline.
Speaking on Lupen Sports on 25 August, Suzgun suggested that if the Super Lig side were to sell a star asset, it would either be between the Czechia ace or Wilfried Ndidi.
The Turkish journalist doesn't see the Istanbul club selling both the winger and the midfielder in the coming days.
As a result, if the Glaswegian outfit can somehow convince Cerny to move to Ibrox, they may have to do so before Ndidi leaves Besiktas.
