Why Nedim Bajrami has been blocked from continental football after Rangers loan exit
Nedim Bajrami is not having it all his way after his Rangers exit.
The Albanian departed Ibrox on loan to join Saudi Arabian side Al Taawoun on loan in early August.
They have the option to make it permanent for a fee of £2.5million at the end of the season.
His contract at Ibrox runs until 2028, but if the 45-cap international makes an impression at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, they will activate their option.
Bajrami has made five appearances with his new team - four in the league and one in the King's Cup.
However, he is now facing a new difficulty with his loan side after a new ruling.

Bajrami has been blocked from playing in the Asian edition of the Europa League, the AFC Champions League Two.
A report from the Scottish Sun claims that the Gers loanee will not be allowed to feature in continental competition for his new side.
It states that his registration for the Champions League Two has been refused.
The reasoning has been revealed, as the Financial Sustainability Committee informed the Buraydah-based club that he would not able to play.
The Wolves have two options: a reshuffle, or leave the Albanian out of the squad.
Why is Bajrami in this position?
Bajrami is in this position because, simply, it did not work out for him in Govan.
He made 63 appearances for the Bears, with seven goals and five assists in that time, which is not enough for an attacking midfielder for one of the elite sides in Scotland.
The Albanian struggled under Danny Rohl and he was not going to get much of a chance with Derek McInnes in charge either.
The 26-year-old is used to being left out of squads, as he was not registered for the Gers' Europa League one last season, but it will still be a blow for the midfielder.
His national team manager, Sylvinho, made the player's dissatisfaction clear last November, but it has never changed his chances of improving his standing at Auchenhowie.
Now, he faces a similar issue at his new team, although it is not actually his fault on this occasion.
