Mikey Moore has plenty of options on the table despite Rangers wanting his immediate return.

The winger had a brilliant season at Ibrox last campaign, winning over the hearts of Gers fans.

The 18-year-old racked up 10 goal involvements in the Scottish Premiership, and particularly started to flourish under Danny Rohl.

Now, Moore has returned to Tottenham following the expiration of his loan deal with the Bears, as his future remains uncertain.

While Derek McInnes will look to make his own signings, the Light Blues will still try to sign some of their initial summer targets, with the Spurs sensation being one of them,

However, Rangers could face the difficult task of fighting off several European clubs for Moore's signature once again, as one route could see him go down the same path Jude Bellingham once did.

Mikey Moore wanted by Borussia Dortmund

Rangers are keen to re-sign Moore this summer, though it may be a while before a decision on his future is made.

That's because Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi is set to take a look at the forward during pre-season and assess if he's worthy of playing a role in Spurs' first team.

The likelihood is that he will be loaned out once more, with the Lilywhites currently against the idea of selling their top talent already.

According to The Athletic, Borussia Dortmund have now joined the race for the Englishman.

The Bears should fear Dortmund more than any other club, as it's become an example environment for English players to thrive in, as Bellingham excelled during his time with the Black and Yellow.

He is now hitting top heights with England at the World Cup, but even Jadon Sancho or Jobe Bellingham are two other examples that may come into Moore's thinking when deciding his next club, if he does leave on loan again.

There's also one thing that's changed at Rangers that could prevent him from wanting an Ibrox return.

Derek McInnes' playstyle may not suit Moore

While it's not known if McInnes truly wants Moore, there's no doubt the 54-year-old will have been impressed with what he saw when coming up against the loanee.

The ex-Hearts boss usually opts for a 4-4-2 formation, which asks more defensive duties of his wide men, and does not give the men on either flank as much license to go forward as a setup that uses wingers does.

That being said, Moore could feel like there's a possibility that he could be held back individually if he plays under McInnes.

Dortmund is an attractive offer for any young player, but let's hope the teenager hasn't forgotten what Ibrox can offer him.
