Speaking on the Rangers Review on 26 August, Jack said, "We understand that there are three Italian clubs who are monitoring Djeidi's situation.

"Monza have actually had two bids rejected by Rangers. They've come to the table with a couple of offers. I think the last one was about €7million. I understand that Lecce and Parma are also in discussions for Gassama as well."

There's still certainly a lack of depth on the wings, with Yokota the only one McInnes can rely on at right-wing.

For now, it would be sensible for the ex-Hearts boss to keep Gassama at his disposal unless the Govan side plan to sign another winger after Kim.
