Where Connor Barron's future lies as fresh move made for in-demand Rangers star
Rangers have received a fresh approach for midfielder Connor Barron.
The 23-year-old is yet to play this season for the Light Blues due to a knee injury, with a return to action against Jagiellonia on Thursday still in doubt.
Without him in the side, Derek McInnes has failed to win a competitive game, with the Gers drawing with Dundee United and losing to Jagiellonia and Hibernian in his absence.
Now, it's increasingly likely that Barron will leave Ibrox before the summer is over after Sevilla posted their interest in the former Aberdeen star.
And a new arrival at Sevilla could be problematic for Rangers.

Despite the 2025-26 season ending badly for Rangers, Barron's performances throughout the campaign were a highlight.
Unfortunately, he couldn't do enough to help the Gers win any silverware, but the midfielder was no doubt the cream of the crop and that improved his value massively.
Hayters now claim that Seville have approached Rangers over a deal, with Serie A club Bologna previously making an offer.
West Ham are also said to be keen now that they have Nils Koppen as their director of player recruitment.
What are Rangers doing about the interest?
Currently, there's little that Rangers can do other than speak to Barron, tell him he's a vital player for them this season and ensure that he's happy at Ibrox.
Other than that, Hayters report claims the Gers are doing what fans would hope they'd do - resisting.
As per Football Insider last month, Rangers would consider a "big offer" for Barron, but it'd need to be in excess of £8million.
When Rangers signed Barron in 2024, they did so after his contract at Pittodrie expired
Aberdeen were later paid a compensation fee of £639,920, with an extra £250,000 potentially being paid in the future due to conditional performance-based bonuses.
If Barron goes for how much Rangers want, it would be a huge profit, but it'd also leave a gaping whole in the middle of McInnes' midfield.
And based on the results without the Scotland midfielder so far this season, there's very little chance that anyone at Ibrox would take a chance on selling him.
